TOMORROW'S HEIRLOOMS! These oak handcrafted spinning wheels are solid, well-balanced, and built to spin. Rick and Marge Reeves have been making these lovely wheels for over thirty years in their small shop in the Iowa countryside. Every wheel produced is a work of art!
Each wheel comes with three whorls, giving ratios as indicated depending on the size of the drive wheel. Screws under the table of the wheel permit storage of the extra whorls. Threading hook is included and fits into it's own hole on the table. Wheel can be used with either the double-drive or scotch tension drive system. 3/8" orifice; 4-1/2" bobbin length.
Each wheel is tested and disassembled enough to permit packing for shipping. Smooth-sanded and ready to finish, or finished in a natural rubbed oil.
Stuhr Enterprises purchased the Reeves' business recently, and Rick and Marge build the wheels for them. If you purchase a Reeves, you are still getting a Reeves!
